Personal Safety Awareness and Breakaway Skills

This bespoke training programme has been designed to provide delegates with the knowledge, understanding and skills to be able to implement and conduct a range of personal safety strategies and effective breakaway skills. The programme has been specifically developed to provide frontline staff or those who by virtue of their occupation may face potentially dangerous situations, with a range of effective personal safety strategies and effective breakaway skills. Based upon a skill set of well-established practices the course is ideally suited to those who work in such occupations as enforcement officers, housing services, debt collection, education services, customer services or healthcare workers.

Safe Business Travel

Due to global events, geographical risk factors and cultural peculiarities International travel is identified as an activity having a potential risk to personal safety, so as an employer the safety and security of its employees is of paramount importance. The aim of this programme therefore is to provide staff with a better understanding with regards to the preparation, planning and which protocols to implement and consider when embarking on business travel. As this is a bespoke based course focused on the needs of the client, the contents will be tailored to your requirements. The course duration will be based on the client’s requirements.

Level 2 Award in Conflict Management (RQF)

This Award in Conflict Management has been developed to meet the requirements of individuals who require training in conflict management. It is appropriate for a wide range of sectors and is suitable for anyone who has a customers facing role, deals with service users or the public. It can also be a useful qualification for individuals who would like a better understanding of how to prevent conflict situations from arising and feel more confident in being able to deal with situations if they arise.

Level 3 Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training (RQF)

This qualification is for people who wish to deliver conflict management skills. It is aimed at tutors who have already completed some generic teaching qualification, such as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, and who now require a more specialist qualification, for example to teach conflict management skills. For trainers delivering licence-linked qualifications in the private security industry, it meets the requirements laid down by the Security Industry Authority. It is also relevant to trainers working in other areas where there is direct contact with customers, service users or the general public. This programme has been specifically developed to address the issue of confrontation in the workplace through the development of competent work based trainers. Trainers who successfully pass the course will be able to delivery to staff relevant training in respect of communications and conflict management skills.

Based upon a skill set of well-established practices the course is ideally suited to those who are required to deliver training to the security sector, police or government bodies or indeed any sector that runs the risk of aggressive confrontation towards staff in the workplace.
